Freeze Tub Warranty & Returns Policy
At Freeze Tub, we’re committed to delivering premium cold therapy products designed for durability, performance, and safety. Our warranty exists to protect you from manufacturing defects and to ensure a smooth, transparent resolution process if an issue arises.
This Limited Warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under consumer law. Nothing in this policy limits or overrides those rights.
1. Warranty Coverage
Freeze Tub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the following warranty to the original purchaser (“you”, “your”) of Freeze Tub products purchased through our official website (freezetub.com) and (icebaths.co.nz)
Your Freeze Tub is guaranteed to:
Match the description and specifications provided at the time of purchase.
Be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.
Perform as intended, provided it is used and maintained in accordance with our instructions.
Coverage Duration
Freeze Tub Solo & Freeze Tub Pro: 3-month standard warranty from the date of delivery.
An optional 12-month extended warranty is available for purchase via our Shop page.
This warranty covers replacement or repair of defective parts, at our discretion. If repair or replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund reflecting the value of the product minus reasonable use and the original shipping price.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to:
1. Normal wear and tear or aging of materials.
2. Cosmetic imperfections, minor deviations, or naturally occurring variations in materials.
3. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, or failure to follow care instructions.
4. Damage due to exposure to high heat, extreme weather, humidity, or freezing temperatures.
5. Use in a commercial or shared environment (e.g., gyms, sports teams, wellness centres) unless the product is specifically rated for commercial use.
6. Contact with chemicals, solvents, or corrosive substances.
7. Modifications or repairs made without Freeze Tub’s authorisation.
8. Damage resulting from accidents, fire, water exposure, or other external factors beyond our control.
Note: The Freeze Tub Solo and Freeze Tub Summit are designed for personal, non-commercial use. Using this model in commercial environments (incl. Schools/Sports teams or Sport Facilities) may void your warranty. For heavy-duty or shared use, we recommend the Freeze Tub Pro or Freeze Tub Barrel, which are built for ongoing, multi-user performance.
How to File a Warranty Claim
We want to make your experience as easy as possible. If you believe your product is defective, please follow these steps:
Step 1 – Submit Your Claim
Email us at contact@freezetub.com with:
1. Your full name
2. Email address
3. Mobile phone number
4. Product name/model
5. Original Invoice / Sales Order Number
6. Reason for your warranty claim
7. Photos or video clearly showing the issue (detailed images or short clips help us assess quickly)
You may also send your video via Facebook Messenger if preferred.
Step 2 - Claim Review
Once received, we’ll review your claim and respond within 5–7 business days. If additional details or media are required, we’ll contact you directly.
Please note:
Refunds cannot be processed back to your credit card. We’ll require bank account details for any refund or reimbursement.
We do not cover shipping fees from your original purchase or return shipping costs associated with warranty claims.
Step 3 – Resolution
If your claim is approved:
We’ll send replacement parts or components free of charge.
You’ll receive easy-to-follow installation instructions for self-repair.
In cases where replacement isn’t possible, we may issue a partial or full refund, based on the product’s usage and condition.
If the issue falls outside warranty coverage, we can still provide replacement parts or repairs at your cost.
Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns
We want you to love your Freeze Tub. If it’s not the right fit, we offer a 21-day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
To qualify for a return:
The product must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with all accessories.
Refunds cover your purchase price, excluding shipping (both to and from you).
Once received, we’ll inspect your returned product and process your refund within 7 days.
5. Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
If ownership of the product is transferred, the warranty becomes void. Any resale or second-hand purchase is considered “as-is” and not covered under this warranty.
6. Liability Disclaimer
Freeze Tub products are designed for safe, personal recovery use. Individuals with pre-existing or underlying health conditions should consult a medical professional before use.
Freeze Tub assumes no liability for any injury, damage, or loss arising from misuse, neglect, or failure to follow operating instructions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Freeze Tub is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, personal injury, water damage, or financial loss.
Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
7. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
